About the management
Vyasa Vidyanikethan Central School is the first project of Jagadguru Educational Cultural & Charitable Trust. The Trust was incorporated in the year 1996 with the objective of reaching true education to the upcoming generations and also serve the unprivileged segment of the society. Objectives were translated to action through sustained group efforts and emancipation in life through development of human resources, with the emphasis to make them to stand on their own. The continuous efforts during the last 17 years proved to be worthy in the sense that thousands of people could be served in this period making their life luminous. It is a matter of fact that the grass root level renaissance effected through various projects witnessed dramatic changes in the life to higher level of thinking and action among this segments there by opening the path to economic prosperity in life. These divisions of the society, who were standing in the last raw of the society, due to the cause of not their own are seeing the glimpse of light of hope in life. Presently 2000 students are studying in 3 schools sponsored by the Trust, one CBSE Senior Secondary School and two accredited to NIOS, where they acquire higher level knowledge and skill to come up in life to meet challenge in life. Trust entered higher education level in the 2013 with the establishment of an institution in the name of Swami Vevekananda College. The institution is a recognized study centre of University of Kerala for B Com, BBA ,M Com, MBA and CA, CPT training is provided for aspirants. ‘Health is wealth’ is the slogan of our ancestors. Yoga is a science of knowledge on natural wealth. Pathanjali Yoga Vidya Peetam was instituted in 1997 and has now grown up to providing education on yoga science up to masters degree level. The institute is approved study Centre of University. Regarding the total service sector activities of the Trust, it is noteworthy that two orphanages one for boys namely Vivekananda Balavikas Kendram, and one for girls namely Souparnika Balika Sadanam are centres of excellence and hope for the deprived section of the society. Another noteworthy project of Trust is daily food serving to average 150 inpatients and bystanders in Govt. Hospital at Chalakudy which has completed 5 years service. Medical and Cultural support being provided to Adivasis living in Jungles beyond Athirappilly waterfall are worth mentioning here. Likewise Trust could reach help to hundreds of families in various ways in last 16 years and the support provided to them turned out to be a bliss in their life. The above all activities are nothing new or invented but only a practicalization of what our ancestors exhorted and the path laid by Seers, Rishis and Gurus which still remain as part and parcel of our cultural etho. “Manava Seva is Madhava Seva,” serving of public, is service to human is service to God, this is our motto.
